The Kidde 60WLDR-W Water Leak + Freeze Detector is a battery-powered device that alerts you to water leaks and freezing temperatures. It's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and can be placed in areas at risk of leaks or freezing, such as under sinks, near appliances, or in basements. When a leak or freezing temperature is detected, the device emits a loud beep and sends a notification to your phone through the Kidde app.

Open the battery compartment with a screwdriver
Install two double-A batteries, following the polarity markings
Replace the cover
The device will beep and a flashing red LED light will appear after 10–15 seconds, indicating it's ready to pair with the app
Connect to Wi-Fi within five minutes in the app
